Sat, 23 July 2005 My first podcast of many (hopefully), in which I tell you a bit about myself, say um a lot and give shout outs to my favourite, much better podcasts out there.
The track played at the end is "The start of something" by Voxtrot who you can listen to and find more about at voxtrot.net. Comments[10] |

Well done on your first podcast! Reminded me very much of my own first show...The 'pops' can easily be avoided by...pointing the mic or headset at the bridge of your nose! What software did you use to record it?

As you're using Audacity, when you're finished recording click effects and choose normalize, then hit ok. It'll go through the whole recording and normalise the sound levels. I noticed that the music was quite a bit louder than your speaking. Using normalize will help equalise it.

Hi!
Your podcast was the first Ive ever listened (these days Im an addicted). I was searching podcasts to help me in my english studies (Im from Brazil) and found it. I know that it is unusual to learn english that way, but the dialogs accompanying my textbooks are so boring. So, thank you for your very funny and singular way to express yourself. It helps me :)
